“Di là d’Arno”, meaning on the other side of the Arno river compared to the side where the Dome and the Baptistery are, there’s Via De’ Bardi, a long street not so luminous due to the presence of many houses, towers and buildings belonged to the Bardi Family.
Some of the historical buildings are private, and they contain important artistic and historical collections and inheritances, even in the building entrances: one of them is the beautiful vault ceiling that is seen from behind the solid wood door.
The frescoed entrance of this historical residence is a precious business card of the city of Florence.
