The Church of Saint Martin in Lesa, on the shore of Lake Maggiore, is first mentioned in 1224. “The parish of Lesa (No)”, says lighting designer Bianca Tresoldi, “entrusted me with the study of the new lighting for the Saint Martin’s Church. A complex but not difficult task, until I met Don Massimo, who set as the only constraint of the project the preservation of the six existing chandeliers. In particular, the request was for a downward light positioned exclusively in the glass bowl of the chandeliers”

SORAA light engine, assembled on customised heatsink; custom-made support bracket for a set of 5 spots to be embedded in the existing chandelier.
The luminaire that has been built consists of five optics with the corresponding dissipation system. In order to meet the requirements of the project, the photometric distributions have been calculated on the basis of the positioning. The careful technical assistance during assembly on site made it possible to achieve an excellent final result.
